Was Paul's Gospel a message that was warning us

to do something before it's too late?

Or is the Gospel truly a "Good News" message in which he was trying to help us see clearly what God has already done?

OR

Perhaps the warnings in the New Testament are forebodings of what happens when we refuse to appreciate God's love and mercy.

Maybe its living life oblivious to God's goodness that leaves us in a mess?

The more I study Paul's words, it becomes apparent that his message is a declaration. Our salvation has been accomplished!

Truly GOOD NEWS

Then, as we see and understand that fact, and look more clearly at what God has already done through the finished work of His son on the cross - - our view is made clear and our hearts are transformed.

Once you lived in the dark, but now the Lord has filled you with light. Live as children who have light.

Eph 5:8 - GOD'S WORD® Translation

I doubt God cares about behavior modification.

Without fail His mercy will lead to the transformation of every heart.

Transformed hearts will produce fitting and astounding reactions.
