Interesting that Jesus tells us that we need to be born again.

Consider Two Things:
1) He does not tell us HOW to be born again.
2) Birth is not our doing.

No one chose to be born. You had nothing to do with it.

Could it be that being born "again"
likewise, has nothing to do with us?

Man's biggest problem is death. Death results from the curse brought about by Adam and Eve's sin. Our lineage is the real problem. - - We are born into Adam's family line.

HOW DO WE GET OUT OF ADAM'S LINEAGE?

                        HOW ARE WE BORN AGAIN?

Paul declares that we are taken out of Adam and placed into Christ (the Second Adam.)  Read the 5th and 6th chapters of Romans.

Romans 5:19
"For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous."

1 Corinthians 15:22
"For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive."

1st Peter 1:2-4
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.”

Ephesians 2:5-6
“Even when we were dead in our trespasses, God made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

What happened
between
Jesus' declaration
that we must be born again
and
Paul's declarations
that we have been born again?

Answer: Jesus' death on the cross and
His mighty words,

                    "It is finished."
